ENROLL NOW! June 2020 Updates
Updated: Jun 2, 2020
Hello NCA Parents!
Northwest is making every effort to be fully prepared for the 2020-2021 school year. We want to extend every possible benefit to you as we look toward the future. Classes are continuing to fill so don’t delay. Here are some of the highlights for the month of June.
Registration:
Registration discount - We have decided to keep the registration discount active for the month of June. Registration will stay at $185 which is $50 off the normal registration cost for the 2020-2021 school year.
Registration assistance – Having difficulty with paying the upfront cost of $185 because of the current situation? We have your back! Pay only $50 up front and have the additional $135 spread throughout your payment schedule for the new year.
New Website:
We are excited to announce that our new and improved website has gone live! We will be sending out new videos over the next few weeks showcasing the website and its features. The login link to get to Renweb/FACTS is easily found on the homepage to the top right (button called “Family Login”).
Parent Survey:
We want you to know that your voice will be heard! We need your input in a brief 9 question survey that will help us make the necessary changes for the upcoming 2020-2021 school year. When you go to the website nweagles.org, a box will display and ask you to take the survey. We will be keeping this box up for the month of June. Please fill the survey out as we want parents to know that we are in this together!
Student Chromebooks:
We are finishing up the process to secure 150 brand new Chromebook laptops! We hope to have the laptops in by mid-July to be ready for the new school year. The first 150 students (K-8) that have registered will have a Chromebook secured. Students that register after the first 150 students will more than likely have a delay in receiving a laptop due to the high demand. These laptops will help the students have a more dynamic learning experience and will also be available to be taken home in the event of a temporary school closure if recommended by the CDC.
Free Lunch Program:
The school is currently in the registration phase with the Nation School Lunch Program (NSLP). We are making every effort to secure this grant for the school so that the majority of the families will have a free lunch for their children. We are also looking into free breakfast and snacks. We do not have a definitive answer yet, but hope to secure this in the month of June. More information will go out as we continue the registration process.
