Dear Parents!
Let me start by saying how thrilled I am to assume the role of head of school for the 2021-2022 school year! As you all know, COVID-19 has presented a number of challenges in education over the course of the last school year. According to national statistics, the advent of online learning resulted in a significant decline in meaningful education for students. Many students ended up failing in key subject areas with the result of being held back and repeating a particular grade level. This is coupled with the fact that while online, students were disengaged and largely absent from the learning process.
In light of these factors, the Northwest Christian Academy will only be operating from an on-campus model for education. Only in situations of extreme emergency will online learning be allowed. One of our key objectives is to teach with excellence, and it is my belief that this can only be achieved through on-campus learning. I deeply appreciate your cooperation in this matter.
